How to open and search an MBOX file
Choose an MBOX archive or try the sample. Siftlet scans for standard MBOX separator lines in small chunks, builds a lightweight header index, and lets you search before it decodes any message body.
The safe reader strips scripts, forms, styles, and live links. Remote images are replaced with a notice. Use the destination check before opening a copied link. Exported EML and attachment files can use the phone share sheet when the browser supports it.
A browser still has device limits. Very large archives work best on a computer with free memory and storage. Keep your original archive; this viewer does not edit it.
