Mercari Fee, Profit & Offer Calculator
Calculate Mercari's current 10% seller fee without the retired processing charge, allocate Instant Pay, and find the lowest profitable offer.
01 / Order
Use the current 10% rule
The selling fee uses item price plus buyer-paid shipping. The old 2.9% + $0.50 processing charge no longer belongs in a current seller estimate.
02 / Seller costs
Keep shipping from eating the offer
Enter the actual label cost whether you pay it directly or Mercari deducts it. Buyer-paid shipping is revenue and label cost is still a cost.
03 / Offer check
Allocate the cash-out correctly
If several orders share one Instant Pay transfer, this calculator spreads the flat $3 instead of charging every order the full payout fee.
Independent estimate for current U.S. listings. Buyer Protection is added to the buyer's checkout and is shown only for price context. Carrier adjustments and failed transfer fees are not predicted.
Field note
Calculate a Mercari offer without the retired processing fee
Mercari currently charges sellers 10% of the completed item price plus buyer-paid shipping. Since January 6, 2025, sellers do not pay the old separate payment-processing fee. Tools that still add 2.9% + $0.50 overstate the current seller cost.
Buyers pay a separate 3.6% Buyer Protection fee. It can affect how expensive your listing feels at checkout, but Mercari does not deduct it from your payout. Standard direct deposit is free; Instant Pay is $3, which this calculator can spread across every order included in one payout.
Rates were checked against Mercari's current fee page and shipping guide. Enter the actual label cost from your chosen method before accepting an offer.
