Image PPI, DPI & Print Size Converter
Check pixels against inches, change JPEG or PNG print-density metadata without inventing detail, or resample to an exact physical size.
Pixels meet paper
Find the real print size.
Read the source pixels, see how large they print at common PPI targets, then change metadata or make an exact-size copy.
- Metadata-only JPEG and PNG export
- Exact inches or centimeters with controlled resampling
- No upload, account, watermark or invented “quality score”

How far can this file go?
These figures use the source pixels. Pick a row to prepare an exact-size copy; the original never changes.
Field note
PPI, DPI and resampling in plain language
An image has a fixed pixel width and height. PPI connects those pixels to a physical print size. Changing only the PPI metadata changes the intended size, not the pixels or detail. It is useful when a print service asks for a density tag but the file already has enough pixels.
Exact-size mode creates a new raster at width × PPI by height × PPI. Enlarging can satisfy a pixel-dimension rule, but it cannot recover detail absent from the source. Adobe currently describes 300 PPI as a common high-quality print target; actual needs depend on the printer, material and viewing distance.
