Field note

How to make a graph online without handing over the data

Keep the first row for column names. Choose a label column, then select one or more numeric series. Commas, tabs, semicolons, quoted cells, currency symbols, percentages, and accounting negatives are accepted. Pie and donut charts use the first selected series.

SVG stays sharp in presentations and design tools. PNG is rendered at twice the preview resolution. PDF places the chart on a landscape U.S. Letter page. The source CSV export preserves the rows currently in the editor.

Every chart includes an SVG title and description for assistive technology. Add a useful title, keep color contrast strong, and avoid relying on color alone when the chart will be published.
